The Marketing Committee plays a vital role in the success of OUAB events. We are responsible for communicating and promoting our events to students throughout campus. We do this as creatively as possible, with simple flyers and chalking as well as fun promotional items, Lantern advertisements and Facebook advertisements. We work to develop an exceptional image of OUAB around campus and seek both volunteers and attendees. Maybe you just want to put a little more creativity in your life or maybe you are looking to find out what marketing is really about. Look around - you might just see us when you are walking through the Oval, and watch out - we might toss you a Frisbee! - Marketing - Abby Pytosh

College students tend to have have their own diverse musical tastes.
Would you like to take part in the process of bringing your favorite
artists to campus? The concerts committee is a group of individuals
with a passion for both music and the music industry. We put on a
variety of shows, ranging from audiences of the tens, to the hundreds
and thousands. We have brought artists like Dashboard Confessional,
Ludacris, Coheed and Cambria, Jason Mraz, Chris Cagle, Jurassic 5, Red
Wanting Blue, Rihanna, Taking Back Sunday, and many more. If you want

way to get involved, Concerts always welcomes new faces and new ideas!
- Collaborative Events - Kayln Eyer
The Co-Sponsorships committee collaborates with other groups at Ohio State to bring diverse and exciting events to campus. Co-Sponsorship events include concerts, lectures, special events and a wide array of non-traditional programs. Committee members have the chance to work closely within their committee as well as with various groups at Ohio State. It is the goal of the Co-Sponsorships committee to create working relationships throughout the Ohio State community. - Dates & Data - Kaitlyn Kappesser
“Made by OSU students, for OSU students," Dates & Data is OSU’s student planner. For 54 years, the Dates & Data committee has been responsible for designing and compiling the entire planner, seeking advertisers to fund publication, working with a publishing company to get the book printed, and selling the finished product to bookstores and other businesses around campus. We are always looking for students to help out with design, advertising, photographs, quotes, sales and more! - Graduate/Professional - Kai Landis
The Graduate & Professional Student Programming Committee plans programs specifically with the graduate and professional student in mind. They range from enhancing a student's academic life, with programs about time management or writing grants, to social programs like our monthly happy hours or speed dating. We also recognize the numerous students who are parents (or are just kids at heart) with our Family Fun series. Overall we work to recognize the different needs of graduate and professional students to connect them to what the University has to offer. - Lectures - Kevin Roshak
The Lectures Committee provides a unique forum for professors, poets, novelists, humanitarians, celebrities, and professional speakers to intellectually stimulate and entertain OSU students. Last year we welcomed the actors and director of the cult classic The Boondock Saints, a panel discussion by veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan, and American author Kurt Vonnegut. Our lectures run the gamut from serious political debates to popular actors from some of the hottest shows and movies. If you'd like to help bring fascinating, educational, and entertaining people to campus then join the Lectures committee! - Special Events - Beth Vanko
Special Events is the OUAB committee that thrives on bringing all of the "fun stuff" to campus. If you're not looking for a concert, movie, or lecture, we're your next stop! Our goal is to promote diversity and events that all people can come and enjoy. We put on a myriad of events on campus ranging from carnivals to promotional tours to speakers. You never know what type of event we may put on next, but you can guarantee it will be jam-packed and fun! We will stop at nothing to make this campus have a good time because we care about each and every OSU Buckeye! - Visual & Fine Arts - Kurt Farrell
The Visual and Fine Arts Committee of OUAB puts on many exciting events for the entire student body to enjoy, including: Flicks For Free, Movies on the Oval, TV Series, Sneak Previews, Art Shows, Poetry Readings, and many more stimulating programs centered around Visual and Fine Arts!
